Stealth Robotics Team 4089 had an outstanding showing at the FIRST Robotic Competition PNW District Glacier Peak Event on March 14 – 15. Our robot and drive team’s strong, consistent performance kept us ranked in 1st place for most of the tournament and allowed us to pick alliance partners Spartronics Team 4917 (Bainbridge Island) and Pack of Parts Team 1294 (Sammamish) for the playoffs. Our 3 team alliance ended up winning the day!
More exciting recognition:
- Stealth won the Quality Award that celebrates machine robustness in concept and fabrication.
- Stealth team member Matt Trout was announced as a semi-finalist for the FIRST Leadership Award which recognizes students who excel in leadership, entrepreneurship, and dedication to advancing the mission of FIRST within their communities.
Stealth is thrilled that their robot named “Jeff” (after a team mentor Jeff Hagstrom) had a great showing at this first event of the FRC season and that we brought a new blue banner back to CHS.
Next up is the PNW District Auburn Event on March 27 – 29. The event page with all the details and livestream link is at our calendar page.
