Recently, our FTC team Smelt 22152 finished 2nd place at the Asimov Super Qualifier Tournament with their alliance teammate Sushi Squad 14179. Further pushing the impossible, by also achieving their SECOND Innovate Award in this current season! Doing so they were able to advance to the FIRST WA FTC State championship in this decode 2026 season!🎉

Also, at this Asimov Qualifier, STEALTH members were able to re-instate the Byte Sized Builders. If you don’t know, Byte Sized Builders is one of STEALTH Robotics’ outreach programs, to introduce future roboticists to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics). This competition, we brought Magnatiles to focus on design and physical creation, but also had custom button making to focus on the art aspects. In total more than 120 buttons were pressed and made, with ages from 6-16 as participants, as well as many parents joining in too! Some were also able to drive our FTC bots and with other events nearby, we were able to incorporate across communities across the state.

Great work at the Asimov Super Qualifier Team! Next stop? FTC WA State Championships! 🫡
